Nolan's next film officially confirmed to be WW2 thriller "Dunkirk"

Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Tom Hardy are currently in talks to join the ensemble.
The large-scale production will be shot on a combination of IMAX 65mm and 65mm large format film.

WW2 probably has more films left in it, but I think Europe's western front is about played out, and given the state of international relations right now, I don't think there will be any more eastern front Hollywood movies for quite a while. There's probably more material left in the Pacific war. I'd absolutely love a modern movie about Taffy 3.
