On season 1, when does it start getting good?

I thought it got good after season one, then a rapid decline with most of the newer stuff as it gets repetitive and stale.

They're still feeling things out in 1, as with a lot of shows. But it introduces the characters and their bond

This, exactly this. I saw the first episode of season 1 and just went to season 2 and it was so much better. Ricky collecting shopping carts, so memorable.
Just watched it myself. 1 is good. 2 starts getting better.

It's only good for 2 seasons, then it gets shitty again.
