If you saw the original series as a kid there's a chance nothing will ever capture you in exactly the same way,
That being said this film captured me in exactly the same way it did when I was a kid, and I think it was every bit as good as original trilogy.
I'd go into the theater prepared to suspend my disbelief and enjoy the movie for what it is. There isn't a such thing as a movie so good that you you'll enjoy it even if you go into the theater alreadyi having made up your mind that you're going to hate it.
