I can't do it anymore guys. I can't fucking take it. It's over. /tv/ is and has been mostly Star Wars and celebrity discussion for too long. I once loved going into threads about good shows (Mad Men, The Sopranos [unmeme'd threads], Boardwalk Empire, and many more serious but fun threads) but it seems like that kind of discussion has become extinct.
I'm seriously considering signing up for Reddit and sub to shows and maybe a niche film subreddit. I really don't know what to do anymore and my only recent form of intellectual discussion concerning entertainment has been on /lit/.
This is may very well be my final thread.
Goodbye /tv/,

I thought you were the one going to reddit, OP.
just fucking look at this shit. how can you go on a website like this?
plebbit is only worse, anon
The Star Wars stuff will dissipate after a while.
Then Game of Thrones will be back on.

At least with GoT there's only 1 or 2 threads

You know anon, because of SW I genuinely considered going to plebbit too. But then, when I look at their film subreddits, I remembered why I never bothered making an account: it's even fucking worse than here. There's not as much SW as here, but the average discussion is worthless there, Star Wars or not.
SW hype will lower with time (it has already started) and we will soon be able to have decent discussions from time to time.
Yes, better leave now. Next summer it will all be about Zootopia.

It's okay to dislike a thing. nothing wrong desu

fuck off
