I have watched arround 500 movies from imdb top or recommandations from movielens, and I find it hard to find enjoyable movies
But now that I have seen "Beyond the black rainbow" which I found prerfect, everything seems even more dull
Is Beyond the black rainbow the pinacle of cinema ? What should I watch after ?
yes it truly is the "pinacle" of cinema
kinda want a sentionaut toy
That you have such high words to a literal, and I mean literal, 1/10 says everything that needs to be said. Try sculpture.

Then name a 10/10 faggot

I wouldn't give it that much credit but it certainly is a highly underrated movie.
I think those who dislike it just don't understand film or applies rules to art.
My favorite /tv/ meme, along with "blackhat is a masterpiece"

This movie sucked hard. Didn't even get into any philosophical shit dealing with psychedelic chemicals.
Literally just telepathic girl escapes from perma-fried psycho.

Blackhat is miles better than Cosmatos's comatose film.
Is black hat even good?
I'm OP and I'm a comptuer scientist. I found that Beyond The Black Rainbow was beautiful and really profound, I'm not trolling, I don't even get the rage
Having watched like 500 films most of which are widely accepted, how could I think it is the best if it is inherently that bad ?
(Forgive my poor english, I'm french)

If you like Drivecore movies like Drive, Thief, It Follows and The Guest then watch it. Be warned: it's a stoner movie.
>>64163381
Believe it or not, I'm currently watching it
>>64163452
It Follows is shit, and I've heard bad things about The Guest. It looks like a shitty knockoff of Drive put together by someone who's never even seen a Michael Mann movie.

>favoriting Beyond the Black Rainbow
>calling everything else dull
You've got some stones, anon.
I mean, Beyond was good for a watch. It's certainly not shit you see every day, and the soundtrack is perfect for the kind of movie it is. But it's a story that can be told in ten minutes, stretched out to feature length.

Oh no, /v/ is trying to get into film. Game over, man, game over!
>>64163653
I don't think so, I think there are many interpretations and bullshit about I think it is somewhat dense
>>64163557
Turn it off right fucking now, please.
