>Its wont make 1billion dollars
>Star Wars is shit
Anything else to say furfaggots?
>>64158552
Star Wars is literal shit compared to Avatar I mean the plot for the movie is pure monkey shit.
>>64158552
>furfaggotry is the #1 fetish of the world of all time
how did this happen?
>>64158552
Star Wars is a sprinter, Avatar is a marathon runner
Star Wars will run out of breath soon while Avatar still made $30 million on its 8th weekend in theaters
>>64158935
FernGully in space is a good plot?
>>64158935
Out of all of the things to bring up you're seriously bringing up plot to defend Avatar? Avatar's plot is just as derivative as TFA's.
>>64158992
This.
>>64159040
yes actually you no taste of your own cretin
>>64158935
Avatar is just as shit.
>>64158935
Avatar is a way more shit story though. At least Star Wars wasn't bogged down by dumb romance.

>thinking it's appropriate to dress like some fat thighbeard sjw there and not be shamed
Your ancestors look down at you in disgust senpai.
It's more like a throwback to an older generation where it's more of a reserved classy kinda sexy.
No shit, almost made me think of Temple of Doom with how she's dressed.
all this samefag

>That's a lot of money, anon!
>>64158935
I couldnt even finish watching Avatar, it was so fucking boring.
>>64158552
Has it beat Avatar yet? No? Okay, then.
>Avatarfags on suicide watch
No such people exist.
More like
>Star Wars haters on suicide watch

>>64158935
Jimfags in such a denial
>>64158935
Okay why the fuck do you cucks keep acting like Avatar was the greatest thing? Its effects were good and that's it. The story is worse than TFA and the acting is non existent
>>64160470
for research purposes, is she an acteress?
>>64160588
cause fuck you
>>64160749
long as you treat her nice on set
>>64158552
This was the most anticipated movie for 30 years, OP?
You think Disney is content with spinning out after a billion? 3 Billion was not out of reach here.
>>64160525
Only reason it's so memorable for me is, we crossed State lines to see it in a 200ft IMAX and high on shrooms, with knowing it was supposed to be the spectacle of what 3D should be.
At that time, it was a visual masterpiece with all those attributes tacked on for me.
Though now, I saw Fury Road in just a Real3D and that was tits up 20x better than what Avatar wanted to do.
>>64160826
Agreed
friendly reminder:
1 Avatar Fox $2,788.0 $760.5 27.3% $2,027.5 72.7% 2009^
CHART NOTES
Grosses are in millions of dollars. ^ Indicates the movie made its gross over multiple releases.
star wars the force awakens super edition with smell-o-vision will be released next year and add to these totals
>>64160990
There's already talk about how a lot was cut from the theatrical release.
And Star Wars made it famous to do multiple releases with different or extended cuts.
Not to mention one of the biggest franchises to make bank off of this.
Don't think Disney wants to bank on doing this, after a well timed release later in the future.
This is the last hurrah for the american blockbuster. This is the tipping point that starts us on the path to rubbing feces all over ourself for the raw sensual thrill.
>>64160556
Wut? You were around in 2009, don't pretend there weren't Avatar fans. It's true that many were extinguished after the Abatap wars, but im still around.
You got avatold literally.
>>64161291
>2016 is right around the corner and packed to the gills
Droid, please.
>>64161291
So... You liked it?
No one said it wouldn't make one billion.
But it won't be Avatar's total.

>Oh no! It's another Dresden!
>>64161340
I mean for what audiences will turn out for, how high their expectations will be. Star Wars was the pinnacle of hype, but soon they'll be churning them out year after year.
>>64161377
I thought it was very disappointing.
>barely ahead of Jurassic World's pace
>capeshitters thinking they can take out Big Jim
>>64161333
>avatold
You got Alvatold back in 2009 mate, pic related
There might have been some, like you, but don't mistake Cameron fans for Avatar fans.
>>64161571
There's now an even higher anticipation of what VIII is going to be like. That hype could be tenfold than what it is now.
And everyone might be clawing at Rogue One in the meantime just because of it.
Your feelings.
Search 'em, they be true and shit.
>mfw I enjoyed Avatar, love Cameron and have been a life long Star Wars fanboy
Living the life here bois
>>64161690
Avatar is like Aliens, but half of it has the shit romantic parts from Titanic mixed in to it.
Basically its a more wanky version of Abyss, which itself was a wanky version of Spielberg shit.
