They wanted "franchise characters" added so i'm guessing adding in agent carter and the whole falcon scene was added by marvel. second, supposedly marvel didn't like the "morality" of the script. whatever that means. my guess is scott lang had more of a legit dark criminal past in wrights script. maybe a darker personality.

There are some deleted scenes that involved Scott helping his crew of misfits rob people and places with the suit before trying to return it so he could pay his child support. The one I remember was a scene where they go to a casino and he runs around on the different tables fixing all the games.
