And, as I always do when I pay good money to see a movie in a theater that I haven't seen before, I stay in the room until the credits are done, to see if there's a stinger. A slithering noise at the end of Aliens. A verrry soft "yo no quiero morir" at the end of the Sixth Sense. Vader's mask at the end of Phantom Menace. I seem to remember that Wayne's World had a post-credits stinger. But none of these is the greatest stinger of all time.
Someday, I will pay to see a movie in a theater. And when I do, I will see an homage to the greatest post-credits stinger of them all: Ferris Bueller's day off. And a main character will walk into a hallway, towel on after a shower, and break the fourth wall: "Why are you still here? The movie's over. Go home. Go on..."
I don't care what anyone says: Luke's scene was fucking awesome. Gave me more feels than Solo's death.

That character had been gone for 30 years and as far as I am concerned, Ford coming back on film isn't like Solo's really back, because Solo isn't, and never will be, an old fuck who can barely run. Not trying to be mean, but that's not Solo to me. Solo is frozen in the past.
