lol, attack of the clones is easily the worst movie in the series, followed by TFA.
The overabundance of CGI is especially notorious in this one, and the entire movie is based around the budding romance between Anakin and Padme... but the actor's have almost no chemistry so it's offputting to see them declare love for one another when it's not believeable in the slightes, this compounded by poor direction which leads to poor acting. It's the worst one. How people can say it's better than EP1 or 3 is beyond me.

Quite a few actually. Because the green screen technology used in AOTC has dated the most out of all the prequels, it's easier to tell what is a set with minimal blue or green screen and what is a miniature as opposed to full blown background.

As a Christmas gift to my sister's family, I'm taking them all to see TFA today. My sister and her two older kids love SW, but my brother-in-law (who's kind of a dudebro) and my youngest nephew have never seen them before, so they're marathoning them to get caught up. I'm worried that they're going to watch the prequels first, and that's going to turn them off the whole thing. Not to mention the prequels blowing the Yoda twist, and "I am your father". I wanted to suggest the machete order (IV>V>II>III>VI, and ignore I), but I didn't want to come off like a huge autist.
