>>64108245

>>64108238
ahahahahahahahaha
>>64108245
I agree desu. And I even liked the movie.
>>64108336
wuhduhfug.
agreed, i loved it
>>64108221
Prisoners and Enemy were far superior films to Sicario. The whole thing falls apart and turns into silly fantasy crap after the bridge scene. I honestly don't understand what people are liking about the movie outside of the operator shit.

lel. it was incredibly hamfisted, and the setpieces were underwhelming (maybe intentional, do underscore the banality of daily drug violence as the final scene illustrated, i dunno). good sound design, good cinematography. cliche as fuck story. i like emily blunt but have no idea why people thought she was so great in this. and how the fuck did a middle-aged lawyer become the world's greatest marksman/infiltrator?

>>64108644
Oh fuck off, it was a damn good movie.
Definitely worthy of the title.
>>64108620
cinematography, tone, and action sequences for starters
>>64108245
This, its good but nothing special
>>64108786
you really think he was just a lawyer or are you really this dense
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
I'll just state the obvious here
>>64108786
are you really this stupid or just pretending?
>>64108620
Agree with everything you said.
>>64108620
just watched this last night. what bridge scene? im trying to remember
>>64108620
>silly fantasy crap
literally what
the thing was so grounded it was ridiculous
the only far-fetched thing i could see was Del Toro only had to kill 4 guards to get to the final boss.

You might find the plots of his previous movies more interesting, but this movie is just better.
The direction its just superb, the peace, the tension, sound and shots are plain great.
What its a more realistic and straightforward story than then previous films turns out to be, for me at least, way more gripping and intense.
And I did love Enemy and Prisoners, I just think hes done a better job with Sicario.
>>64108221
Thank me later, plebs
>>64109204
Mediocre, like all Pixar flicks.
>>64108238
I kinda have this theory there will be no more classics, classics were only possible when movies were still a novelty and imaginations could be sparked in the uninitiated masses but now the creative market has been over saturated, nothing can capture people quite like they use to.
Probably wrong though, I'll wait a few decades to see.

shit
also Frozen is a new clasic
the Before trilogy
There Will Be Blood
The Social Network
Mulholland Dr.
it's far too early to discuss whether or not titles released in 2015 will have the staying power.
