Personally I've paid to watch this movie 3 times and bought the novelization and several collectible merchandise.
All 3 times I went to see the movie was in IMAX 3D. First on the Thursday previews, the next day with another group of friends, and Monday afternoon with my girlfriend. She doesn't even like Star Wars, but she said she really enjoyed it as her first Star Wars movie. It also works better as a date movie for us since I'm black and she's white.
I fully enjoyed all 3 showings and am considering going for a 4th time. Also I fully enjoyed how much extra detail the novelization added to the storyline. I've taken the liberty of buying my niece and nephew tickets to see it with my brother and his wife for Christmas.
I don't have an excuse. I'm very proud to be a fan of this film.

Just saw it. Not bad, could have been a lot worse, I'm just glad my expectations weren't set high.
My only real problem with this movie is Rey being the MacGuyver of the Star Wars universe, but I'm hoping that they'll explain how and why she's able to do all these things despite being stuck on Not Tatooine most of her life by the end of Episode VIII.
If they're smart they'll go the Revan route, if they're stupid and she can do it just because then it's feminism and I don't have time for that bullshit.

Finn used his ejector seat. He only knew where the TIE fighter landed because of the big column of smoke that the crashed fighter gave off. I don't think he saw Poe inside the fighter when he went to go look for him, so it is totally plausible that Poe got out of the wreckage but couldn't find Finn
