I saw Peter Greenaway at a grocery store in Newport last year. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, "Oh? Are you sure you just don't want photos because you're visually illiterate?" I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "Just because you have eyes, does not mean you can see." and numero-linguistically reordering the shelves in front of my face.
I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw Peter trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen stuffed birds in his suitcase without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be an ornithologist and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the birds and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually to prevent any "violent unknown infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I didn't even think that's a word. After she scanned each bird and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by counting really loudly backwards.

There's connotations to "flick", "film", "movie", and "cinema"
Flick almost feels like a derogatory term, I don't think there's any reason to use it unless a movie's on par with capeshit
"film" and "movie" feel the same to me, but I'll use film if that's what it was actually shot on. It kinda sounds pretentious, though, so I personally use "movie" most of the time
"Cinema" is when you wanna be ironic about pretentious people or if a movie is total arthouse and can't be described any other way
They're basically the same, but they're still different, like how "Good", "great", "wonderful", "awesome", etc. mean basically the same thing but in a different way
