DVD will die out, however it is smart to have those CD booklet things full of DVD's that you really enjoy. Don't be an autist and have it all displayed on some shelf.
That's the ultimate pussy deflector.

Have you watched a DVD recently, like an actual physical disc? Why do people assume DVDs have the same shit quality as the shitty rips they download on their laptops. The quality/resolution is fine and looks good on a HDTV.

Get some VHS tapes instead like the cool kids.
>>
>>64069423
is vynil dead?
is vhs dead?
is print dead?

why should you care?

>Native DVD resolution is 720x480

>muh stuff!!!
CDs, DVDs, and books are all dead.

IT DONT LOOK GOOD CUS ITS 480P UPSCALED TO 1080P

AND INCREASINGLY NOW ITS 480P UPSCALED TO 2160P

IT LOOKS TOTAL SHIT, EVEN WITH REASONABLY HIGH MPEG2 BITRATE ON A DVDR THE RESOLUTION IS JUST TOO LOW

DVD SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE PLANET SO SCREENER FAGGOTS DONT HAVE A CHOICE BUT TO RELEASE 1080P SCREENERS

I still use dvds to back up files/photos. I will eventually switch over to bd-rs but so far have no real reason while dvd-rs are so cheap.
>>
>>64069713
It already is. Especially the stuff you watch.
>>
>>64069713
id say switch to jew ray then senpai
>>
More importantly, I can't wait until television and film are finally dead mediums for entertainment.
>>

I just bought my grandparents a Blu Ray player for Christmas. Does that answer your question OP?

It couldn't hurt if you get the DVDs on the cheap, though.
