IS THIS WORTH SEEING IN THEATERS?
>>
>>64064068
nah. revenant would be much better on the big screen
>>
>>64064068
It's made to be watched on small tablets in the car when you can't get into your gf's apartment because you've been cucked by the basketball team.
>>
Yes, it's great. And shocking.
>>
70mm was scratched to high hell. There was a green line on the screen for about 2/3 of the movie. Fuck you Tarantino I want my money back
>>
>>64064068
I'm buying a ticket just to protest the fact that Disney operative Andrew Kosove was paid to leak it to damage sales. Those are ROTTEN TACTICS, Disney.
>>
>>64064123
This
You'll love it too as its Malick for plebs
>>
>>64065176

What theater? I have choices and would like to avoid this scenario.
>>
>>64065277
it looks like Malick with actual conflict and stakes.
>>
>>64065277
What's Malick for patricians?

If you're a neckbearded "cinephile" going to "film school" at a large state school with dreams of "making it big", go see Hateful Eight.

If you've read "Rebel Without a Crew" by Robert Rodriguez, if you fantasize about becoming a "rebel filmmaker" who will sell his plasma to shoot your indie flick, go see Hateful Eight.

If you have neckbearded friends who fancy themselves sophisticates but also cream themselves over capeshit and genre trash, go see Hateful Eight.

If you're a frustrated beta who thinks a career in film with "show all those assholes from high school" and "legitimize my intellectual eccentricities", go see Hateful Eight.

If you have found that you're poor at math, science, technology, and other traditional modes of learning, yet you build a giant wall of denial about it and tell people you have "kinetic" and "cinematic" and "memetic" intelligence that can't be measured on standardized test, go see Hateful Eight.

If you've ever thought about writing that screenplay, that magical idea you've nursed in your brain for years, but never gotten around to doing it, go see Hateful Eight.

If you're a self-loathing millennial, too intellectually pure and morally profound to work a real job, if you instead wish to live vicariously through anti-social artists and directors ripping off shitty B-movies, go see Hateful Eight.

>if you want to do anything with your life, you're a bad person
>>
>>64065659
Hateful Eight is a waste of time, no matter who you are or what your ambitions are.
>>
If you are going to Hateful Eight expecting crazy action or an adventure story, you will be disappointed
>>
If you're going to Hateful Eight expecting good dialog, a plot that makes sense, or characters that are believable, you will be disappointed.
>>
>>64065752
If you go to Hateful Eight expecting anything but a cuckold edgefest of a film, you will be disappointed.

>>64065659
you should work at cinema, you're obviously a master projector

>huge ass blemish on the projector lens
Got my God damn money back that's for sure.

Also going to the cinema tomorrow. Hopefully h8fl 8 is at least watchable in case my theater isn't playing The Revenant

>tfw you sound like Tim Roth in this film whenever you're really pissed
>>
>>64064123
Yep. Revenant has a weak story but amazing visuals, definitely worth seeing on the big screen in all its majesty. Hateful Eight is a decent movie but the whole 70mm thing its fucking stupid and underutilized. 90% of the film is interior shots and edgy dialogue, wait for it to hit netflix imo.
>>
>great dialogue
>great plot

Sure, the ending was a tad lackluster, but i really genuinely don't understand all the h8.
Star wars was definitely a glib facsimile, but i reallg enjoyed Hateful Eight.
>>
If you like seeing racist southern whitebois get butt-naked and suck the Big Black Cock of the superior well-clothed Black Man in GLORIOUS 70mm ULTRASCOPE, then yes, it's worth seeing in theaters.
>>
no the ending is literally shit
>>
>>64066012
it was the best ending to a QT movie since Death Proof/Pulp Fiction

Yeah you are right, torrent the screener. There is no reason to see it on the big screen though.

>best ending

Unless I didn't see the changed version that ending was incredibly shit.

Channing Tatum head blown off was fine but after that holy shit did Tarrantino's inability to end this movie show crystal fuckin clear here. It killed the entire moment the movie had for me.

I disagree. It was a super solid ending, loved it. Not even sure what your problem with it is.
>>
Props to Qt for working in another samuel gets shot in the balls scene
>>
>>64065176

I almost 100 percent sure my theater out here in san antonio (the palladium) FUCKED UP and zoomed in on the 70mm showing. I do not believe they did it right, the picture was jittery a few times.
>>
>>64067044
Did it seem really flickery too, like on the outdoor scenes?
>>
>>64064068
I got a 70mm screening near me but fuck cuckentino

UNO FARTO @ 3:17
>>
>>64064068
Just got back from it. It was a lot of fun. I would recommend it, the audience was really into the movie it was great.

wew that was good

>>

CUS ITS SHIT TIER 70MM

NOLAN SHOT 15 PERF 70MM, THE HUGE ASS IMAX 70MM

NOT LITTLE KUCK 70MM LIKE KUCKANTINO

BIG BIG DIFFERENCE
>>
>>64064068
No, not at all.

>shot in 70mm
>98% of the movie takes place in a confined cabin
>>
>>64065238

TFA leaked, too. So OT got them back I guess.
>>
>>64068168
Cams don't count as leaks.
>>
>>64065895
Yeah. And the projector died near the beginning. And the overature was projected wrong.
>>
I enjoyed the movie
I disliked the random narration and the inclusion of Channing Tatum because i felt it broke the "rules" of the mystery, but at least his head was quickly blown the fuck out

Sounds like your theater was fucked. I saw it in glorious 70mm and it was gorgeous.
>>
I bet 90% of the people in this thread just watched the leaked screener and didn't bother to see it in theaters.
>>
>>64069057
I absolutely watched the screener.
>>
>>64067080
That's because you were seeing it on film at 24fps. The outdoor scenes especially made the frames flickering very obvious. Nothing to complain about.
>>
So how many of us are gonna fart in the theater 3 mins and 17 seconds into the movie. I know I am.
>>
>>64069067
For fuck's sake, just kill yourself so you don't ever watch another film again. You don't deserve to have eyes to see a movie if you're not going to participate in the 70mm roadshow.
>>
Saw it earlier tonight. It was a fun movie that I really enjoyed. I can see why others wouldn't like it because the first hour and 40 minutes are dialogue driven, but I loved that. The next hour is a rewarding, intense, and gore-filled experience that screamed Tarantino. I would definitely recommend seeing it in theaters.

But, the dialog wasn't even well written.

Roadshow was awesome except when the projectionist missed a new reel for like a second and a half or something

Overture/10 would Roadshow again I wish the intermission was for everybody
>>
>>64064068
Oy vey, of couyse it is, goyim!

Don't let the Weinsteins starve this Ha -- I mean, Christmas!
>>

The intermission came at just the right time and it was great how they included it in the narration about "roughly fifteen minutes later..."

NOPE!

I watched it yesterday and its literally the inglorious bastards bar/shootout scene made into a almost 3hr movie.

It has its deceng moment, but it just confirms that tarintino is a one trick pony again.

Death proff was one of his most unique movies as far as im concerend and thats why i liked it so much, but he hates it cause he admits he tried something different.

The movie could have been better and a bit longer drawn out and it would have been perfect.
>>
>>64069848
Nigga it was a 3 hour movie and you wish it was drawn out more?
>>
>supporting black lives matter
>>
>>64069915
My mistake
No i meant death prooff should have been drawn out more, bruh.

Hateful 8 felt like the bar scene in inglorious bastards drawn out to make a 3hr long movie

WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO SEE THIS

ITS CLAIM TO FAME IS A BLACK MAN SODOMIZING A WHITE MAN

ONLY A LITERAL ACTUAL KUCK WOULD HEAR ABOUT THIS BUZZ AND SAY YEAH I WANNA SEE THAT MOVIE

KUCKANTINO IS A KUCK WHO MAKES KUCK MOVIES FOR KUCKS SUCH AS HIMSELF
>>
>>64070395
The only people paying attention to that are the real kucks. If it really upset you so much then didn't it make you feel better when Samuel Jackson literally got his balls shot off?
