If it's a time-travel-a-week episodic series, it might work. My problem with Arrow and The Flash is that they become so samey. "We're in the coffee shop set, having a discussion about our relationship. Next we should head to the science base set, and discuss our plan."
It feels like a sitcom. Which is a shame because (especially in Arrow) the action is pretty good. It feels like everything else is filler, because it's cheap to make and easy to write.
Plus everything happens on a week-by-week basis. The Marvel Netflix series were a breath of fresh air because they could be planned more from start to finish, and didn't awkwardly happen in real time.
Don't get me wrong, this might be really good, I just hope the creators have noticed the flaws in the formula of Arrow and The Flash and do something a little different.
