that the focus wasnt on how the cartels is bad, and the govt simply as the good guys..the govt had a real dark and nasty angle that the general public would dissaprove of...and even though there were shootouts, they felt realistic enough (as opposed to michael bay trash or others). the focus was also on her practically being played for a pawn in their dirty scheme instead of just wasting the bad guys and then the good guys go home.
