I also really liked Kylo, Adam Driver was probably the best actor in the movie (and a great casting decision, considering he's 6'3" and has a deep voice & memorable face). I don't understand the hate for him. His awkward autistic mannerisms were way more entertaining than whatever generic edgy villain people expected.
Like, you can't top how cool Vader was, so having a villain that's pointedly not cool (emotionally or in his demeanor) was a good idea.
