What's everyone's favorite TOS episode? I really liked Return of the Archons. It seemed to embody a lot of what I like about Star Trek. I also love pretty much every courtroom episode in any Trek.
How long until SW stops burying my threads?
Why does everyone compare Star Trek to Star Wars when it's clear the direct constestant is Doctor Who?

I have that coming down the pipe for my watch of TOS, I guess I'll be looking forward to it.

Why would you say that? They're all pretty different and for different audiences, I never understood the STAR TREK vs STAR WARS ebin nerd war.
Wolf in the Fold is pretty up there for me. It's got all the good and bad parts of tas rolled into one episode.

I never quite understood Roddenberry's fixation on sex and sexuality in his vision. I guess it's probably inspired by free love in the 60s? It always seemed kinda hamfisted.

Spectre of the Gun is super memorable.

I've never seen anything Star Trek related in my life. Is it worth watching everything from the very beginning?
>>64018016
Speaking as someone who likes Star Trek, yes, I'd suggest it. Start with TOS or TNG from the beginning and just watch it all. Start with TOS if you like campy and colorful and TNG if you want a bit more diplomatic and slower paced. Both series have bad episodes, but that's part of the fun. It should be noted that TOS only has 3 seasons, whereas TNG has 7. So go with TOS if you want less of a commitment.
