This is the most view youtube video in youtube history that is not a music video. It has had over 1,200,000 views in the past 24 hours.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP-MbfHFUqs

>1,081,654,377 views as of this post

>54 minutes 12 seconds runtime
>111,540.46 years worth o combined time humanity has spent watching this

To put this length of time into perspective.

>Agriculture involving domestication of plants was developed around 11,500 years ago
>10,000-20,000 years ago Evolution of light skin in Europeans
>200,000 years ago earliest fossil evidence for anatomically modern Homo sapiens

Imagine what humanity could do if only 1/10th (11,154 years) of this time was put to focused use to better humanity as a whole.

So, like what social programming does that video have on the brains of the children watching it? Has anyone here watched it all the way through? Is it something kids should actually be viewing?
>>
I doubt anyone is watching this shit all the way through, but even if each person only watched 60 seconds it would still be too much time.

>111,540.46 years.

I spend longer than that on /tv/ every day.
>>
That's not how humanity works
>>
My niece used to love watching little baby bum. Their videos are really annoying, I couldn't stand more than a few seconds of it.
>>

Aside from the obvious counting, rhyme, spelling, etc teaching tools, it teaches to anthropomorphize inanimate objects and animals (furry programming?) It teaches diversity, segregation of gender, class system, racism, leaving home is bad because it makes your parents sad (classic Jewish mother guilt trip programming) and a shit load of other things. It is amazing what you can hide in colorful smiles.
>>
>>64011362
>It has had over 1,200,000 views in the past 24 hours.

Add another 50,206 to that since this was posted.

>>64011484
Well, yes it is. The type of social programming you choose to teach kids determines what the future will be like. You turn 111k+ years of social programming into whatever the fuck you want to. You plant seeds in their mind for what jobs they are more likely to want or who they should marry, all manner of things. It really turns into workload in the end, but in a distributed way because the film itself teaches so many things.

If something like that was focused to 1 thing the results could be quite amazing.

>>64011415
I've known kids to rewatch the same thing 10-30 times, especially Disney stuff. They do it until they can mimic every word and facial expression.
>>
yeah, these toddlers should be out farming the fields, or learning to build rocket engines

the people who watch this shit still make boom boom in their diapers, and parent's just let their kids watch it on their phone or something while they get groceries and shit

not a big deal
>>
Damn it averages 2,159,090 views a day.

>>64011932
see
>>64011713
It is obviously more complicated than that as stated.
>>
They're bots.

The Indian government gives subsidies to "educational" videos based on views and comments. That's why there's so many nightmare-tier CG videos that break every copyright on youtube

These kind of videos are what third worlders play on their $50 tablets over and over to keep their children entertained, that's how they rack up such a high view count.

She stopped watching them for a while, and now she doesn't like the videos.

You guys really have no clue at all do you?

>social-programming
>1: The process by which the ideas, concepts and beliefs of the society in which we live are ingrained into our psyche. The process is usually by authoritative decree or by assimilation.
>2: The ideas, concepts and beliefs of our social environment that become ingrained in our psyche.

Imagine if those parents sat their children down to something that was programming them to do 1 task and nothing else at all. It'd be the equivalent of of a world wide super computer in 20 years when they are all grown up and actually doing what they've been programmed to do.
>>
>>64013201
you are still wasting 15, 20 years for the first group to do anything
>>
>>64013405
No, you continue the next phase of programming. Online forums like >>>/pol/ but that doesn't matter because your point is completely moot in that the original regard.
>>
Johnny Johnny!

Just imagine if we could somehow have recorded the views of every popular kids show in the last 60 years, the majority of them would put that youtube video to shame.
>>
>>64011362
>Friend lets his 4 year old sit in front of the computer and watch this shit
>he comes back 5 minutes later to see him watching a video of somebody killing people in GTA V or Videos of drag racing

Only a matter of time before something worse comes up on related videos
>>
>>64014030
Clever kid
>>

I wonder how many views there are and how much time it adds up to for all the stuff every posted to youtube?

>Only a matter of time before something worse comes up on related videos

Anyone here remember the game where you post something extremely innocent and have to post the most adult content you can get merely by clicking through related content?

I think the best I did was ending up on some video where a chick was teaching people how to shave her pussy, graphically.
