Leo is going to get snubbed.

Lubezki is a lock for The Revenant, but he might not get it because a three-peat would be too much for some people.

Mad Max best director, best picture, wins best visual effects and editing.

Would be nice if Benoit Debie got a nomination.

Thanks for your useless contribution, Reddit.

Fassbender swoops best actor and leo cries

That movie where Walter White plays a blacklisted screenwriter in hollywood splits the major awards with the Cate Blanchett lesbian movie.

All the ultra violent movies get snubbed

Inside Out loses to that sheep movie.

Who cares for awards? I mean surely they will give it to the safest film possible

Anyway I think Inarritu will pull a FFC and win Best Picture again with The Revenant

>Anyway I think Inarritu will pull a FFC and win Best Picture again with The Revenant
I would be surprised, the industry is pretty ho-hum about that movie and Inarritu isn't exactly an established name deserving two oscars(or even one imo)

rooney will win cap this

I'd rather it be for The Revenant instead of Birdmeme.

Mad Max deserves at least being nominated for best director or movie. It's a neoclassical piece of work that shouldn't be dismissed. A more stimulating film than Trumbo or Spotlight.
>>
>>64000882
>not American
>not Pixar

It has zero chance for the Oscar.

Yeah actually the production shekels come from French people (and when you look at the wiki page, they say it's a French film), but almost everyone who worked on it was American.
But apparently it's not even out in the US yet while it came out this summer in France.
>>
>>64001046
We're not talking about MTV Movie Awards, fampai.
>>
>>64000935
Its building up to the same scenario again. Lots of safe indie and desperate oscar bait no one cares flooding critics awards until something truly ambitious and deemed as award worthy like The Revenant shows up. It is also far more audience friendly than Birdman (Though it will probably flop simply because the budget was so expensive).

>>64001269

>Anomalisa
>Inside Out
>Minions
>Shaun the Sheep Movie

These 4 will get nominated, I don't know what will be the 5th one between Good Dinosaur, Peanuts and Marnie, but it won't win anyway. Anomalisa seems too mature for the animation category, Minions is too shit to actually win, so it will be between Shaun the Sheep and Inside Out.
But everybody knows Pixar always wins anyway.
