Yeah I would have to say Jack is the most overall loved. His character is such a great balance between being a total badass but still have such huge weaknesses. Not to mention Kiefer was born to play the role.

The problem with lost is that nothing gets explained or resolved until the last few episodes, and many things never get fully explained (island time travel when they turn that wheel, seriously what the fuck was the deal with that).
If you accept that and watch it for the subplots and the characters it's pretty good.

I am so scared of experiencing that void in my life again after the final credits of that last episode roll that I will not begin the descent until I come back from my holidays. I am specially connected to this series because I was 7 when the show began and I had just come back from being with my dad and my grandmother, and my mother was watching what I thought was a movie and It began with Jack's pupil dilating. I was leaving my home never to return next day or so, and I promised I would someday return to watch that series. It's changed me in so many ways. I know that's kind of the point but I just found him annoying and obnoxious by the end. The early episodes with the hatch and Locke wanting so badly to get in made me feel. I miss this show. I think I'm gonna rewatch it.
