Guy who worked as a painter/home remodeler for a couple of years here. That shit is pretty safe assuming that the painter isn't a klutz. Painters also do this all the fucking time in addition to this >>63965331 and way worse shit to save time and money. Scaffolds are used only when the pay is good or if there will be inspectors on site.
