Either Luke's or Leias. The flashback scene suggests that she was at Luke's academy at the time of the massacre, and that Kylo Ren couldn't bring himself to kill her. It's then logical to suggest that he's the one that wiped her memory and dropped her off on Jakku.
I think it makes mythological sense for Rey to be Luke's daughter.
The core story of Star Wars is the Skywalker family. They are this cosmic shatterpoint for all the melodrama in the galaxy. Sure it's far-fetched and "makes the galaxy feel small", but it's romantic. It's a story about a family. That's why we connect with it.
I will be very disappointed if Rey isn't a Skywalker (hopefully Luke's actual daughter and not his niece). For one, she displays many of the traits of her ancestors...
- She's technically savvy like Anakin.
- She physically resembles Padme.
- Her origin story is almost exactly like Luke's, but in many ways it's an even harsher environment.
- Once again, she's unaware of her importance and comes from a place of humility like her father and grandfather.
She HAS to be a Skywalker. It's the only answer that makes sense.
I think it would be interesting to divvy up the trilogies (which Disney will make ad infinitum) based on each new Skywalker generation.
1-3: Anakin
4-6: Luke
7-9: Rey
10-12: Rey's offspring
It's the tie that binds all the major episodic films together. All the spin-offs can be unrelated to the Skywalkers, but the main films should always focus on their continuing lineage. That will keep the movies connected no matter what changes in the galaxy.
Some Skywalkers can become heroes, some villains... But it should always come back to their story.
