i always liked the prequels. sure they never lived up to the originals. but they had some good parts and they had heart
EP1 was decent but a bit boring had great final fight and one of the best pieces of music to come from star wars
EP2 is the worst way too much cgi and story is a bit all over the place, but some decent scenes
EP3 is my favorite of them best acting of the 3 best music overall, lots of the emperor, obi wan, darth plagueis scene, order 66 scene and a few other things
i can understand if you don't like some of them but to call them some of the worst movies ever made has to be one of the biggest exaggerations of all time
pisses me off that people would rather ridicule and alienate the man who actually gave them star wars in the first place, and replace him with disney who already plan on milking this franchise to it's death

I guess by new you mean sitting behind a TV giving zero instructions to the actors and then making your animators and editors do all of the real work on the film. That is new, but that doesn't mean it's good.
