I don't really understand how people think they sold out by saying they liked TFA. They've made a shit ton of videos talking down the constant buzz and hype culture behind it. That's what they found stupid about it, the obnoxious marketing surrounding the movie and the merchandising that revolved around it. Whether or not they liked the movie changed their opinions about that, and it honestly was a good movie. They liked it more than I did, but I wasn't buttblasted about it. The movie works well save for the kind of weak first act and Rey being the most boring protagonist.
