In the article it says Disney is making a small amount of 35mm prints for The Force Awakens. Anyone know of a list of theaters showing it in 35mm? Specifically near Austin TX, thanks fellas.
>>
Also, any theaters where I can show up a half-hour early and not have to watch all the disney cross-promotion?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this competent pointless in a movie where most of the shots are CGI enhanced anyway? It seems like making a vinyl recording of an MP3 file.

no that would be equivalent to printing a 35mm mastered from a compressed blu-ray encode

Like taking your digital music master file and then recording it onto a thick reel to reel analog tape to warm it up and smush it all together.

Also, for ants.

It was shot on 35mm. Yeah I know it goes through a computer and stuff, digital intermediate. But I still like to catch movies in 35mm when I can.

Ok.

I'm going to say in my suicide note that I was driven to it by /tv/ cyberbullying and the authorities will shut this site down, then you'll be sorry.

They're only making a small amount of 35 prints because very few ants like star wars.
