I think both titles are fine. The color blue played a big part in the movie. Its a subsitute for her curiosity in the beginning and sadness in the ending of the movie. The movie is filled with visual symbolism containing the color even though I think that this was handled better in the graphic novel. The Fench Title is in my eyes even better as the movie centerd around not just the love of the two main characters but mainly on the life of adele

avant garde fedora tipping trash. a cliche story with a progressive flavor, wrapped in obscene sexual scenes as a substitute for having any kind of creativity. this film is everything wrong with film. it relies on shock value instead of actual content so all the fedora tipping douche bags can mentally jerk themselves off and pretend to be enlightened individuals. wow, bravo. the type of people who enjoy this are the same ones that give patronage to similar modern art such as 'shit in a can' or 'blank canvas'.
