Thoughts on Sicario?
It had some patrician cinematography.
welcome to the era of meme cinematography

I see that you made it to the everything is a meme era.
muh reflections
I cringed so hard at the "fireworks" scene.
>>63877624
I cringed so hard at this "post"
It had some good cinematography, but way too much of this
>>63877024
Recognizable shots that are instantly associated with being 'good cinematography' when they don't add much.
>>63877624
yeah, that was gay

>DUDE I LIKE THIS MOVIE SO ANY CRITICISM OF IT IS INVALID LMAO
I liked it too fag. Grow up.
You are a few months late to the discussion,
villanueve went a little overboard with the reflections imo
Also something else that kind of irked me is Jon Berthnal only being in it for 5 minutes, why even hire him for the part

What's the best quality screener that's out?

i fucking love the scene where the guy oulled out his knife in the tunnel.
Any other movies with cool operator scenes like this?
Also, how the fuck does the mexican blad cop know that alejandro is medellin?
He's just a lackey, how the fuck can he know about alejandro?
>>63878947
He saw a demon.
One look at Alejandro and you know he's here to fuck shit up.

PROS:
Top tier performances from Del Toro and Brolin, captured the distinct horrific feel of the Mexican drug war, asked actual questions about ethics, that FUCKING scene with Del Toro at the kingpin's compound at the dinner table, real sense of tension.
CONS:
Blunt had all the charisma of a flaccid dick, story was messy in parts and I could hear the gears turning (like the unnecessary Mexican family subplot about the cop), a bit too many of the shots were reminiscent of other recent military films like Zero Dark Thirty instead of doing their own thing.
bretty gud 7/10, Del Toro was fantastic, anything involving the lead character was boring as hell
>>63876962
MOTY. It and Blackhat seriously make up for a lackluster year
>>63878427
Yeah I'm sure denis based on McTiernan when shooting this film
the only thing i didn't get was what the fuck was shane doing?he works for the cartel, but how did he ended up being in the same place of the fmb AND almost banged her
>>63879077
>Blunt had all the charisma of a flaccid dick
thats 90% of her movies
>>63879333
I think he was sent to kill her but she noticed the bracelet on his keychain before
There was also mention of her being used as bait to lure him out but it was the black friends idea to go to the bar he was at, so I'm unsure about that whole thing
>>63879333
It was there to show you just how corrupt everything is.
Even this guy with a family, and who is a friend of a friend can't be trusted.
>its an Emily Blunt looks worried scene
Oh wait thats the whole fucking movie
>>63876962
> one side is in the light
> one side is in the dark
> this is the last time they spoke as friends
