Ya a lot of the books were forgettable and some straight up terrible, but the NJO arc was amazing, and Jacen is one of the best SW characters. The Dark Nest trilogy is probs the best trilogy of books next to the first Thrawn books.
TFA was still decent though, but even if it is ripped from the books and would make a bunch of dadcore fans upset, the Vong story would be way more interesting than the bland as fuck First Order.
