It's easily the most underrated movie in the MCU.
It and Iron Man were the only two movies where it was clear they hadn't fleshed the entire MCU concept out and were still making movies mostly as their own thing and not parts of a much bigger system hell bent on mostly just self sustaining itself.
It also has the most brutal and savage final fight scene

I disagree.
I think the movie falls short on a few promises it makes, but overall captures its theme well and has a nice dark tone to itself.
Perhaps it's not as ambitious as the Eric Bana HULK film, but it's far better executed.

I mean I would probably have slightly different rankings, but I'm fine with this overall, with 2 specific exceptions.
1. Iron Man 3 is fucking horrible. One of the most trash capeshit movies I've seen in the last decade, and no, I don't care about "muh manderin".
2. You really hate the first Thor that much? Its a nice take on a God being having to cope with being mortal. Meanwhile Hiddleson has some of the best acting in the entire MCU.

Iron Man 2 is filled with issues, but it's a better watch on its own merits than almost half the MCU at this point.
And compared to some of the absolute lowest end trash like Thor 2 or Age of Reddit, it's hardly the bastard child of the series.
