They're generic products. These blue-text-on-white ones were available throughout the country before the popularization of store-brand generics. Movies and TV shows that didn't have a product placement agreement or the means to make quality props would also use these to depict their characters eating, smoking etc. In the case of Repo Man, it's also said to have been a stylistic choice.
