7 at best
some good scenes/characters
some boring derivative shit
fun for kids
Terrible
Genuinely good Star Wars film and a nice return to form for the franchise. Still has a number of flaws that prevent it from being great, but it's easily a 7/10. Personally I'd like to see it again.

Hi there!
You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!
Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bit to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!
Its better than attack of the clones. I'll give it that.

Fantastic. Solid 8/10. Everything I wanted from a new star wars. /tv/s mad because they've made the original trilogy out to be some sort mythical god sent movies. Seriously, /tv/ is mostly nit picking plot holes, as if the original trilogy's plot wasn't swiss cheese. My only complaint is that the script was pretty clunky. Special effects were my favorite part probably. The blend of cgi and practical was mostly seamless, and it managed to avoid the corniness of relying too much on cgi or practical effects.
One of my worries going into it was that it would be a beat for beat remake of New Hope. I was very glad to see that while it was the same basic formula as New Hope, it wasn't predictable or boring. It was a remake of New Hope in the same sense that Terminator 2 is a remake of Terminator 1
