Since 2010, more and more stars have been doing weird ads on British TV. The strange thing is that it's no longer Z-D list, we're seeing old veterans reaching for the paycheck, I don't personally blame them.

You could argue that relevant, triple A stars always got way with ads unlike their more obvious colleagues because it's for fashion/perfume lines. That sort of thing is more prestigious and appears more positive than negative for ones career. Although I'm still debating if Depp got away with it for Dior

Hiring a celebrity to anchor a TV commercial is a good strategy for marketing spam meme games.

The Sauvage ad is honestly one of the most wful ads I've ever seen, even by the low bar set for fragrance ads. It almost seems like satire.
