I hate the one of the few pictures I've seen.
People are going to use sexism as an excuses for its failure, but it will really be that it just won't be a very good movie and could never live up to the legacy of the old movies. It couldn't do that even if it was men in the roles.
Times are different and what people expect from comedy has changed. Instead of subtle and clever horror comedy that's doesn't try to be a laugh a minute riot like the old movies, it's going to try oh so hard to be one you might as well forget that it's supposed to have horror elements in the movie. I mean really, can you look at these ladies and imagine them facing some of the more horrific scenes of the old ones? I just can't imagine this being a well thought out horror comedy that can make you laugh as well as frighten you.

I'm willing to give it a chance. But from this photo and the other one with the green back ground. The two on the end try way too much to look "Hard". And it's kind of frustrating, I don't know if they were to told to luck tough or imagine you're taking a prison photo but they're getting on my nerves now. And I'm a little afraid that these are their character traits in the movie which is a bit of a detractor for me.

The reason a lot of people hate it is because its all female and a reboot. If they made it like creed which was a great way to continue to the series by having rocky pass the tourch people would have loved it.
The 3 living ghost busters to old to bust ghosts have to hire some new blood to keep the business alive because who you gonna call when ghosts run amok. hilarity ensues and they end the film with a heartfelt goodbye from the og ghostbusters.
I just made a decent ghostbuster film and they could still be all women.

Look at these pictures and compare them to groups pictures of the old Ghostbusters. These are just your average guys, a little cocky because that's their style and in their job they need a little bravery even when they're scared out of their wits half the time
The new Ghostbusters are too cocky and try to hard to be brave. The movie will be too afraid to depict them as actually scared of ghost or anything less than perfect.
