What's the point if you don't post film's titles ?
You know there's already a 3x3 thread right?
>>63831030
Not that guy, but it looks like Wings of Desire by Wim Wenders. Great movie.
>>63832940
You're not supposed to be able to recognize them unless you've seen them, so that you can't rate on reputation alone. Unfortunately, a lot of people take it too far and make them with stills that could be from almost anything.
>>63833154
>You're not supposed to be able to recognize them unless you've seen them
m8, you post this kind of thread in a board with 70 threads of star wars, c'mon
that, and do this thing is pretty autist desu sempai
>>63833154
Don't be a dildo. 3x3 threads aren't supposed to be a dick measuring contest where you treat movies like trading cards. It's supposed to be a place where you share beautiful shots and try to prompt people into seeing new movies based on one still alone.
>>63832940
This. It's literally so that if anyone asks about a film they don't recognise, the poster can say
>oh, you don't know X? well it's called X and you should really watch it because yadda yadda
Just fuck off, post 3x3s with titles in
>>63830793
titles
>Kanał
>Julien Donkey Boy
>Two women
>Sátántangó
>News From Home
>Othello
>A Matter of Life and Death
>Bigger Than Life
>Die Nibelungen
sorry guys but normally people just ask i didnt want to seem elitist or snobbish i just didnt post them this time
>>63833914
It's more elitist and snobby to make a 3x3 where people have to ask for titles if they haven't seen a movie. Either make them with title or recognisable scenes
>>63834012
not here to argue, if you want to know the title, just ask :)
>>63834921
we have very similar tastes apart from that hack pta
>>63835044
care to elaborate on pt being a hack?
By the time i remembered about yesterdays thread it had already archived

But you can't even judge the cinematography meaningfully from a single shot, let alone the film as a whole.

titles?
I quite like these 3x3 threads, although I rarely participate because making the image is a giant PITA. But today is a lazy Saturday, so why not?
Also, anyone who fails to include the film titles is either an attention whore or a pretentious twat. $.02.
>>63841021
>Also, anyone who fails to include the film titles is either an attention whore or a pretentious twat. $.02.
you clearly don't belong...
>>63840708
City of Pirates as easy to admire for its creativity, but seriously hard to like. It's far too excessive with its visual effects. That one exchange at the beginning was one of the worst scenes that I've seen from an [f]art house film, with it's contrived edits and shot compositions. I've only seen three films from Ruiz and still have no idea why people compare to Peter Greenaway.
The rest of your chart is 4/7
