Actually, if they talked about it, they didn't get it. That was a thing. They couldn't even keep the scripts, they had to learn their lines and then give back the script to people who where watching them the whole time.

And even then, that's only because he got Indiana Jones off the back of SW which allowed him to become a household name by leading a franchise, springboarding off the popularity of Star Wars.
