Street Fighter has better quotable lines and is more campy. MK they actually gave a shit but that doesn't usually work with a fictional supernatural fighting movie.

Street Fighter is better. Zangief's realization that he's been working for the bad guys is gold. Bison guy does a great job, and so does Van Damme. I wish it had more Ken and Ryu, but overall it was pretty good for a movie about fucking Street Fighter.

Mortal Kombat was pretty okay until it got to Annihilation. I still can't get over how the first one ended on a shot of Christopher Lambert's face, and Annihilation opened on the exact same shot (being an immediate sequel) but Lambert had been replaced by an even bigger nobody.
