I'm going to watch Star Wars for the first time. Which order should i watch them in?
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Not that cute hipster way ;)
>>63792066
VII-V-VI-IV-I-II-III
IV, V, II, III, VI
>>63792066
IV V VI
Don't
>>63792066
Execute order 66
>>63792066
4, 5, 6, then watch the Plinkett reviews.
IV V VI VII
don't watch the prequels
>>63792066
4, 5, 1 (for darth maul), 2, 3, 6, 7
it makes perfect sense this way
I watched them 4,5,6,1,2,3,7 but it kind of ruins 6
6425317 obviously
1 -> 2 -> 4 -> 6 -> 1 -> 5 -> 3 -> 7
IV V VI.
>>63792066
A envy you, young padawan.
heres what will happen:
you watch 4, 5, 6
> oh wow Star Wars is awesome! George Lucas is a genius! time to watch the back story!
you watch 1,2,3
> what the fuck I feel like Ive been raped by a fat sweaty George Lucas until my asshole is bleeding midichlorians, make the memory go away
>>63792206
>1 twice
kek
>>63792066
4 5 6 1 2 3
The prequel don't jive so much on the original trilogy that if you watch the prequels first you'll spend the entire time watching the older ones trying to make sense of how they fit together rather than just enjoying them.

i would like to watch them all, so i should go IV, V, VI, I, II, III, VII?
>>63792066
I to VII. Not like you can possibly be unspoiled about that big suprise tweest in V, and given that just watch in the chronological order. For kids who actually do not know the big spoilers some propose VI>V>I to III>VI and so on. But others say that even for kids the chronological order works perfectly fine.
>>63792206
Any significance for leaving 3 til the end or na?
>>63792434
Yes, the prequels routinely announce information treated as big reveals in the OT
>>63792066
A New Hope
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
The Phantom Menace
The Clone Wars
Revenge of the Sith
The Force Awakens
>>63792066
1234567
>>63792661
*Attack of the Clones
if you want Darth Vader destroying as a character, then watch the prequels.
7,6,5,4,3,2,1
>>63792066
You already know all the twists, so you might as well watch them 1-6 instead of 4-6 then 1-3.And then finish with the best one in the series,VII :^ )
Start with Episode II to realize "he was a good friend"
Then Episode IV to fast forward and see Obi Wan be old and stuff.
Then Episode VI to see the culmination of the training for Luke
Then Episode I to understand the force
Next watch Episode V to see Yoda reflect on all the jedi's mistakes with Anakin.
And finally Episode III to see Anakin's fall that caused all the terror
This is the true patrician's way of watching the series.

I'm waiting for Star Wars 9 to come out
then I'll go watch them all at a movie marathon.
Never seen any of them, and you fags spoil it everytime.
So I'm waiting for the "last" one and going big.
>>63792066
Watch them in order so you save the best for last.
>>63792156
/thread.
watch the original 3 and nothing else. Don't listen to the pussies telling you to watch ANY of the prequels. Not worth it unless you are doing it with the intention of watching Plinkett's reviews later.
IV V VI I II III
Starting with the prequels is a surefire way to give up on the movies.

Legit retard here.

Actually, I think if he watched Tartakovsky's cartoon Clone Wars over Episode Two, he would be far better off. Lose no information, possibly only treat The Phantome Meance as a really terrible movie out of the seven.
What would be the way to watch it if you didn't know Vader is Luke's father?

Good stuff in here
>>63793770
Come on, even some natives in the middle of the fucking Amazon who have never heard of modern civilization will know by now that Vader is Luke's father.

Based Machete order.
>>63793811
>>63794476
Correct.
Machete Order.
>>63792156
This is the only correct answer.
5, 1, 7, 3, 2, 4
4 5 6 1 2 3
or
7 5 6 1 2 3
>>63794055
This is cute.
I literally can't even remember my reaction to it as a kid anymore.
>>63794055
>With the rise of the internet and disney churning out new star wars films this will pretty much never happen anymore
Kind of sad. I hope if I ever have a kid I can keep them off the internet and out of daycare until they're like 4 or 5, then show them the movies where they can understand the very basics of what's happening.
>>63792066
4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, Plinkett 1, Plinkett 2, Plinket 3, 7.
>>63792117
What the fuck.
