It was awkward, yeah, but think about it: Anakin never got into a relationship with a girl until he was around 20 - of course he'd drop spaghetti and set off autism bombs. The weird script doesn't really bother me, because it works well in context. I always thought the acting was fine, though the voices are a little bit stilted.ONE OF US

This is the only correct list and y'all know it.
The prequels were much better written, they had actual characters and story, not a bunch of memes and one-liners that lack any emotion or coherence. Luke is a cliched everyboy "hero" that goes through an absurdly rapid transformation between the fifth and the sixth episodes. Anakin's emotional instability and his exposure as a psychopath are gripping; and his doomed relationship with Padme is touching. In the "original trilogy" Han, Leia, Darth Vader and Obi Wan are complete meme characters, nothing about them is remotely believable or human. And why doesn't anyone care about deaths in those movies? Leia's planet destruction, Luke's stepparents' death, all of the blown up rebels--the list could go on--all the deaths are forgotten moments later.
As for direction, the movies from the "original trilogy" were mostly incoherent, badly edited and full of logical problems. The prequel trilogy is a work of a "vulgar auteur".
I feel neutral about the series overall, and honestly don't care about trolling or contrarianism. Here are my sincere rankings:

I think this is fair. Episode 2 has some great moments (Ani wrecking tuskens out of rage, Ani and Padme entering the arena, chasing the bounty hunter through Coruscant).

I find the amount of 2 dead last weird. I remember the immediate reactions weren't Worst In The Whole Franchise bad ("At least it's not ROTJ") and I loved the battle at the end.
It had a whole bunch of nods to things to come in the originals, it had crossed battle-lines like Yoda directing around Stormtroopers (weird as hell the first time you see it), and it has the Imperial March and Star Destroyeresque Things at the end.
Just make a movie that's the last third or something of it and discard the rest.
