Movies better than the books

Nice bait faggot. The book is much better.
That doesn't mean the movie isn't good. It is. But it's totally different and really lackluster in comparison.

Nice premise, awful B8.
I'll start: The Spy Who Loved Me.
The book was unfortunately, a real clinker.

Its the best movie that ever existed
>>63767813
Amazing that the effects in an almost 20 year old movie are still better then a lot of new blockbusters.

Watchmen is basically capeshit.

Retards detected.

It's a shame the sequels and CGI miniseries never held up quite as well as the original. I would like to watch more.
the book was good in its own right, but it got bogged down at times.

Book has a couple extra threads the movie didn't bother with, and rightly so.

You act like an illiterate child who's never read Ian Fleming. Come back when you're old enough to shave.

Nah boot camp was insane in the book!
Fight Club and Shutter Island couldn't believe how similar it was, in the book the ending was just a little longer and pointless.
The movie dispensed with all the orating and philosophising about the nature of the universe,
and that really irritating psalm-singing character.
It was a lot more entertaining that way.
Atlas Shrugged
I assume.. the book wasnt fit for wiping my ass.

This was pretty comfy too.
>>63771413
this was one of the worst movies i ever saw. it's just so corny.
>>63771586
Still going to be better than reading the meth psychosis delusions of an old crankhead dreaming of ubermensch.
>>63769824
This is sadly true.

Based off a manga, but whatever, the manga fucking sucks.
Nothing of note happens throughout the entire manga, heck, they even FAKE killing the protagonist's friend, only to reveal that they merely made him unconscious.
