27 seasons of good Simpsons would be a tremendous amount of entertainment. You could pretty much continually watch them over and over on loop whenever you are feeling down.
On the other hand, original Star Wars was iconic to the point of being a religious experience. Six more that good could actually be life changing experiences for many people.
