I've been wondering about Snoke since watching it.
Since he seduced Kylo to the dark side, and taught him dark side shit, it seems reasonable to suggest he's some kind of sith Lord already.
So there's surely only 2 reasonable suggestions

Nothing in the novelizations was a writer's independent idea, every plot point comes directly from George.
