Here's a big question i had about FinnHe says to Han that his Job on the Death star was sanitation. If that is the case, then why in the ever loving fuck did Kylo Ren bring him along on his super important mission at the beginning of the film?You maybe might argue that all stormtroopers are trained in combat (there's a throw away line to this effect even). But SURELY a top soldier like kylo would only pick his best most TRUSTED men, not some fucking sanitation worker. This movie is flawed, sure. But it's not Prequel-tier bad. It's fairly decent. There were a lot of great moments. Kylo Ren is a great villain, his temper tantrums are hilarious, but he can also be menacing when he wants to.I had no fucking idea he'd be Han's fucking son! When Snoke first spat it out I was like "u fuckin wot m8?". Then when Han saw Kylo in the Starkiller base I fucking knew Han was as good as dead. That was way too predictable. I think it reminded me of Commodus in Gladiator.
Then there's the issue of Rey suddenly gaining mad skills with both using the force and lightsaber battle out of fucking nowhere. Yeah, I get it. The force is strong with her or some bullshit. But that was some Mary Sue shit right there. Does Rey even really have any fucking flaws?
The thing I was glad about, however, is that Rey wasn't revealed to be Luke's daughter. Maybe it'll be kept for the next movie, but I just hope that it isn't the case, even though all evidence points to the contrary.
Yeah, all in all this was a pretty great experience, but I'm sure that when I watch a second time I'll be much more aware of the flaws. At least there weren't any retarded Ewoks, so that alone makes it better than Return of the Jedi and there is no Jar Jar Binks or whiny Hayden Christensen, so it's definitely better than the prequels.
In the scene where Kylo is talking to Vaders mask, he says something along the lines of 'I'm feeling conflicted about the force and Snoke knows it, please show me the true power of the dark side again'

The movie overall was fucked up in scale. Starkiller was absurdly huge while the regular ships and fighters were almost nonexistent throughout the whole movie.
