That's because the general public is composed by normies and redditors, who can't aprecciate a good show unless it's completely over the top.
I love BrBa, but BCS is much better and more subtle.
Rewatching BrBa with my father, I came to realise that the best seasons are the early ones, that still have some dry dark humour, instead of quotable dialogue and "memetic" scenes.
I hope BCS keeps its integrity in writing, and doesn't try to appeal to general public.

I liked these, while watching, but they don't feel like the sort of thing they'd do when the hype for the show wasn't so big. They feel more like the sort of thing done to impress a new public.
