Friendly reminder that you can't dodge the rodge
I still remember experiencing it live. 50 straight fresh reviews. 60. 61. 62. And......
>a Glib Facsimile. Rotten.
>ROGER MOORE
Fuck, man.
>>63746614
>tfw I was the one who started the thread and kept spamming it with screenshots of the increasing number of reviews
It was truly an historic moment.
>still glibposting
Oh wow I didn't realise it was still the 16th
>>63746994
only oldfags remember glibposting
>>63746756
It's JUST what I expected, this rehash is nothing but a glib facsimile. Praise anime
>>63746512
I don't think I've ever heard the word "glib" before
Do native speakers actually use this word
>>63747776
It's not every day language but it's not ridiculously uncommon either. Can't give him shit for it really though, much as glib facsimile has become a meme it really is a great and concise way of explaining the film and his opinion of it.
>>63747875
literally no one uses the word "facsimile" though
if he called it a glib copy nobody would give a shit
>>63747919
I've heard facsimile before, more than once. Again it's more specific too, I'd heard it in the context of a monk taking a book and rewriting it for his monastery, something with far more physical and real world overtones than the word copy has today.

A copy is not a facsimile, son.
A copy machine is not a fax machine.
>>63748150
my copy machine literally is a fax machine though
>>63748150
>A copy is not a facsimile, son.
Yes it is.
>A copy machine is not a fax machine.
Don't be dumb. A "fax" machine is short for telefax which copies and then transmits.
>>63747919
>if he called it a glib copy nobody would give a shit
this is why he was correct to use facsimile
people complaining that he wrote something memorable instead of something boring and forgettable are retarded
>>63748240
>A "fax" machine is short for telefax
Telefax is short for telephonic facsimile. Facsimile is an actual word with a distinct meaning, you fags.

You misunderstood my post because that's what I'm saying.
