Luke kills himself in order to avoid getting corrupted, and goes as a force ghost looking for people around the galaxy to come together, and kill off an ancient race of aliens that likes to fuck around with the dark side, and has come into game in the galaxy recently, with some ancient technology or whatever. Lando Clarissan son and Han's son are in charge of visiting the potential candidates to reform the Jedi Order, under the guidance of Luke, and carry them to some whatever the fuck planet which was used by ancient jedis or some shit.

It would go like this;

First movie: Han and Lando's son, picking up people from multiple planets with different cultures sort of like that sequence from X Men First Class where Prof. X and Magneto go around recruiting people, but much more extended and rooted. Getting into trouble along the way, fighting some random cunts, and fucking chicks.

Second Movie: training begins, Han and Lando's kids go around looking for needed artifacts and knowledge, while showing scenes of sith ayyyliums slowly advancing and wrecking shit.

Third Movie: Jedi shits are finished with the training, fighting montages on different planets, either Han's or Lando's son dies, ayyliums get wrecked along with 70% of the jedis, we've come to know (though they aren't the main characters). Bittersweet ending, fade to black.

>The Republic is still standing, but they're in a shit state
>Main character is some young kid (late teens/young adult) who lives on the other side of the galaxy, who yearns for an adventure
>Gets wrapped up in adventure when he some how gets tangled up with a Jedi who's looking for something or some shit.
>No super-weapons
>The quest should be about trying to find/retrieve something that can help the Republic
>Like new shielding tech, or a new ship design or something
>Movie doesn't end with a major victory for the Republic, but instead with them now having a better footing in the war
