It's a rehash of the first movie with OC donut steel characters
- Kylo is an emo teen
- Too much fast paced, seems rushed sometimes.
- Han death scene is nothing like Obi Wan one was, you can only feel no emotion, he was just bring into this movie to die.
- Rey is a master Jedi in 10s (ok, she's supposed to be the one or shit but that doesn't excuse instant power-ups).
- Starkiller is STUPID AS SHIT
- They didn't push a forced romance between finn and rey in this one (but there are 2 more films to see her blacked, and trust me they will push it).
I give it 5.5/10 : Not a bad movie but holy fuck those nerds praising it are beyond pleb.

It still has the empire, a planet destroying weapon, red lighstaber weilding bad guys, etc. The main characters somehow broke up too so they can't work together. Han and Leia broke up which is hard for me to believe. Luke is isolated which is even harder for me to believe. This all seems to contrived after ROTJ. It doesn't seem like a legitimate sequel.
But I quite liked it.

I liked it. It felt like Star Wars to me. It was a fun ride, the characters were enjoyable and had good chemistry. I can see why people might dislike the reuse of much of the story structure and set pieces from A New Hope, but to me it felt much like a celebration of what made the original great with a nice new coat of paint. As long as the remaining two films have a more original story I don't mind this.

I don't see the big problem. Kylo was already hurt and just killed his dad, so he was probably not in the greatest emotional state either. Rey was shown to be able to hold her own in a melee fight and was clearly very force sensitive and a quick learner. Besides, it wasn't like it was exactly "easy" for her to win.
