Just recently started watching/collecting art house movies and I'm wondering how you guys organize your libraries. What format do you follow in how your movies are filenamed? How do you go about acquiring obscure movies? For music, between slsk and what.cd it's incredibly simple for me to maintain consistent fidelity in my mp3 and FLAC libraries. I'm finding it's not so simple with art house films on rutracker. Is there another private tracker I should be aware of with more consistent quality?

I get my films from PTP and KG.
I watch them then leave them wherever I downloaded to, because I'm not autistic.

I don't download. I can't trust the encoding quality and the metadata. I build my collection from scratch, starting with a transcode from an optical disc (DVD or BluRay). I sometimes purchase, but mainly use my local library or Netflix by mail. Then, I tag with impeccable metadata using MetaX. The files are then housed in iTunes and can be streamed to an Apple TV or played on an iPhone or iPad. I currently have 1,160 films, and 6,500 TV episodes across 177 TV Shows.

I got lucky by finding an old Gershwin CD in a thrift store once and it turned to be a request for about 10 gigs.
Or if you want to stay at home you could fill one of the non-music ones. There were a couple of requests for issues of Q magazine, and using a trial account on Play Store, I manually saved full resolution images of the issues. Then I just combined the pictures to a pdf and uploaded them for the reward.
