Tone. Some scenes were fun and campy. Some scenes were Skyfall Bourne action. Some scenes were edgy. It felt like every scene had its own director. The villain was also completely uninteresting, pretty much just a turbo butthurt loser, and him being behind everything is the biggest asspull of the series.

Pretty much. On top of Christoph Waltz making zero effort to act anything but bored, the bond girl being incredibly boring, the stupid swan song at the end (in fact the entire end sequence in general was terrible). Everything after the train sequence was horrendous, before it it felt like it might turn around but then wham this is the movie you came to see.

It was just bad. It didn't know what it wanted to be. I can't remember specifics but I recall some scenes were brutal as fuck before some slapstic comedy was ham-fisted in. Like a weird mix of Casino Royale and one of the Roger Moore films.
It just didn't work.
Plus it was at least 30 minutes too long. And I loved how Monica Belluci got interviews about being a 50-something bond girl when she was literally in the film for 5 minutes. Basically Bond walks up to her and she's spreading her legs immediately.

Dave Bautista was worthless and literally existed to make a few action scenes happen. They should have just focused onBlofeld, because for some super important and supposedly very powerful person, he's barely in the fucking film at all. He has like 2 major scenes and that's it. It makes him lack any intimidation factor.

There were a few very minor redeeming qualities, Lea Seydoux is 10/10 but her character was the worst. Opening scene is cool.
However this had by far one of the dumbest plots ever. Dialogue was weak, characters didn't make sense. Felt like the movie was written by a bunch of incompetent people who never checked in with each other, then cut and pasted their pieces of the script together.

Idk what you guys were expecting, but it had everything a bond film should have. Everything. I liked SPECTRE and I think that's because I recognized what they were trying to do with it.
It played out like a Bond's greatest hits remix. Not that it was perfect, it definitely had its flaws.
