Some stuff still exists, and it wouldn't be that awful if they did something on the kingdom of Benin (extremely good earth-movers, sadly not much remains but at the time the shit was impressive) or the Yoruba (very realistic sculptures). I'd say something about Axum, but they were a Christian state since forever, so there aren't any new myths to make from their culture as far as I know.

They already did a Napoleon TV show, it was pretty good. But I would really enjoy seeing a Napoleon show with Game of Thrones' budget and character list. Imagine seeing all the marshals like Massena and Davout getting their own storylines. Or you could have separate plotlines for France, Austria, Britain, Spain, and Russia. There are tons of cool, dramatic moments to use too, like "a whiff of grapeshot", the Battle of the Pyramids, 18 Brumaire, Napoleon's coronation, Trafalgar, Austerlitz, the dissolution of the HRE, Wagram.....it would be so amazing.
